What’s up guys. After the big news on what will happen to DISGAEA once DISGAEA D2 releases, we at P2S thought that we needed to tell you guys our thoughts on the WS banlist.
We will only be doing Neo-Standard because nobody at Kira Kira Cards plays Standard.
First, we will discuss what cards we think that should be on the list.
Angel Beats!

When Da Capo got hit by the banlist back in Feb. 2013, many were surprised that Angel Beats! did not get hit by the banlist. Heck, we were all surprised that it got an extra booster vol.2. Anyways, We believe it is time that Angel Beats! gets hit and we think the 3 cards above should be the choice of 1.
First, the 1/0 Kanade is most likely the card to be on the restriction list if AB is ever put on the banlist. Index/Railgun’s Heaven’s Canceller has the same effect as the 1/0 Kanade but instead of <Dead> characters it gives encore to <Espers>. Recently, a new banlist for Disgaea was revealed (Not Official Yet) and the 1/0 Flonne (Does the same thing but for <Demons>) was put on the restriction list. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the 1/0 Kanade is put on the list.
The 1/1 7500 Kanade doesn’t really have to be on this list but because of the 1/0 Kanade the card would be really annoying because even if you manage to kill it at level 1 the player can just encore with the effect of the 1/0.
A level 3 that has a climax combo with a gate, pay 1 salvage any character and +3000 power to any death character on the field, which is basically every character in AB, until the end of your opponent’s turn. This card makes it very hard to get pass if it gets the buff and even if you manage to defeat it, the player can always encore it with the 1/0 Kanade.

Bushiroad, please stop making Da Capo Cards!!!!!! It has enough!!!!!
Da Capo, which is mainly a set that sends cards to memory and heals a lot is very annoying and causes a lot of stress to players going against it. Because so many cards go to memory, it gives Da Capo players the high chance of canceling but at the same time high chance of triggering them. What also annoys players is the heal loop. Just send cards to memory and heal.
There are a lot of cards that go to memory and we were very lazy to go through the entire card pool of Da Capo so we just picked some cards that stood out. We will mainly talk Newspaper because it is getting more support from the new Da Capo III Anime Extra Booster.
The RR 0/0 Charles which has the shift ability to put into hand and the ability to go to memory by just checking the top card of your deck for a <Student Council> is an easy cost. If you don’t get it than no worries. There are still other cards that go to memory. Such as the 2/1 event. It salvages a <Student Council> and it sends itself and the same event card from waiting room to memory. It’s a cost 1, salvage, and send 2 cards to memory.
When the Level 3 Red Charles was announced for the upcoming Da Capo III Anime, many of us at Kira Kira Cards were like WTF!!! This card is lethal. Not only does it deal 1 damage but it also gives another character the 1 damage burn effect? Now that is just stupid. Imagine if there are 2 or even 3 on the field. Now that it scary. The climax for this combo is a +2000 +1 Soul so giving the card power to reverse the opponent’s character for the burn.

Many of us at KKC hate going against Da Capo, especially when this card is in the opponent’s deck. This event card allows you to heal any 2 cards from clock and goes to memory. If they banned other healing events like the LB Ecstasy and Tantei Milky Holmes (Scroll down to see events) than there is no question that they should forbid this card instead of restricting it.

[C] ASSIST All your Characters in front of this card gain +1000 Power.
[A] When a card in either player’s Clock is moved to Waiting Room due to an effect of a card of its owner’s, that player may put the top 2 cards in their Stock in the Waiting Room. If not, that player puts the top card of the Library in Clock.
Topping many tournaments because of it’s anti-heal combo we think it is time that Rewrite gets hit. The anti-healing combo was of course to stop healing because it prolongs matches so to shorten that anti-heal was born.
To nerf Rewrite, we decided that the Yellow 3/2 that deals burn damage and the anti-heal were the best choice. If your opponent really wants to heal they can pay the extra 2 stock but there are times where you want to keep stock for effects or bring out other characters. The 3/2 Chihaya burns damage so it is giving players a hard time because they can’t heal when they really want too.
If Bushiroad really wants to crush Rewrite than they would also put the 2/2 Chihaya in the restriction list.

You don’t have to worry about the first effect because you bring this card out with the 1/1 changer. Both this card and the 1/1 have high power making it hard to kill and the climax combo is with a gate so you get to salvage for free.

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun
We honestly think Railgun got hit really hard so we actually expect strong cards from the upcoming set. Depending on what is in the next set we think the Railgun Restriction will change. The 3/2 Misaka and Kuroko might get lifted or just get forbidden. The restriction list will probably stay the same.

A really annoying healing combo. There is no doubt that this combo needed to get hit. The Anzu heals when it is on the top of your clock zone while Moking (Blue Event) allows you to heal any 2 cards. How this combo works? First, you would clock the Anzu so that you can draw 2 cards. Second, you would use Moking to heal any 2 cards other than Anzu. Than at the end of your turn you would heal off Anzu. You just healed 3 times at level 2.
We actually believe that Da Capo actually needs more cards on the banlist. (Refer to the information above)

With all honesty, it was pretty odd that this card got onto the list because the Little Busters! Maid Mio card basically did the same thing but it was probably because Disgaea had more options.

It was actually unexpected to see iDOLM@STER to get hit by the banlist. It actually doesn’t hurt them that much. This banlist actually gave players the opportunity to explore more options. It was also a surprise that Jupiter was lifted from this list because it is an event that heals, gives power and go to memory. In replacement, the 3/2 Anime Takane was put onto the list.
The 1/0 Haruka is one of the best if not THE BEST level 1 card in iDOLM@STER. It has a salvage and beatdown ability making it really hard to get rid of. It is a key card for most red iDOLM@STER decks.
The 0/0 Azusa was actually kinda understandable because it allows you to check your top card for free and it’s ability to run around the stage makes it annoying.
The 3/2 Anime Takane was no surprise because coming out at level 2 and heal is pretty annoying.

Railgun got hit very hard with this list.
The 1/1 Kuroko, which can end up being 7500 with a random Misaka on the stage can also be called back from the waiting with the Misaka bond.
Heaven’s Canceller, for those who didn’t know this card was actually banned but now that the ban is lifted it is now restricted to one of the 3. The reason why this card is on this list was because you can keep the 1/1 Kuroko alive by using it’s hand-encore effect. Of course this effect allows you to use it on other cards.
Kiyama, a global ESPER level x500 support card making your cards very buff. Also, the climax combo which allows you to get a free stock from waiting room helps out because Railgun does use up a lot of stock.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu

This card definitely needs to stay on this list. Pay 1 to kill off a character and bring a character onto any slot on the stage and than salvage 2 characters.

The red event card is a +1 if it is successful. As for the characters, they were most likely put onto this list because of the powerful early beat down. The 2/1, which changes into the 3/2 Louise which heals and has a climax combo with a gate to gain +3000 power and bring out Saito from memory can really hurt early game. As for the 3/2 Yellow Lousie, as long as you have 2 specific cards in your level zone you can bring it out at level 2. Which means the player can have both level 3 characters on the field.
Zero no Tsukaima players have to give up the powerful salvage event for the 3/2 Louise. As for the 2/1 changer, the player doesn’t need to run because they can just run the level 3 that it changes too along with the yellow 3/2 Louise. If they really want to run the 2/1 event, they would have to forget about the 3/2 yellow Louise and run the 3/2 Red Louise. Zero no Tsukaima didn’t really get hit that hard, it’s still a solid deck.
